This branch of our company is located in a much quieter place than the city offices. We are in Village Hardan, which is part of the Dhadiala Nazara post office area in Batala, Gurdaspur. It’s a different vibe out here in Punjab. The pace is a bit slower, but the work we do is still about systems and technical management. We have a small team here who mostly come from the nearby villages. It’s nice to work somewhere where you can see some green outside the window instead of just more buildings. We handle the local side of things and make sure the projects in this region stay on track. Sometimes the internet is a bit slow or the power goes out, but we’re used to that and we just manage. People know each other around here, so it’s a friendly place to be. We don’t have a big lobby or a receptionist. Usually, you just walk in and talk to whoever is at their desk. We spend a lot of time on the phone with the other offices or checking on the equipment we look after. It’s practical work, keeping everything running without making a big fuss about it. Even though we’re in a village, we keep up with all the technical requirements just like anyone else. It’s just how we do things here in Batala. We like it this way and it works for the kind of stuff we handle on a daily basis.
