Guru Nanak Digital Center

Guru Nanak Digital Center is located right on Batala Road in Harchowal. It’s a small shop where we do a bit of everything digital, like printing out papers, taking passport photos, or helping people with their online forms. The printer is almost always running and sometimes it makes a loud clicking noise that we’ve just gotten used to. People from the village come in all day, especially students who need things for school or farmers who have some paperwork to finish. The shop isn't very large, so if three or four people are inside at once, it feels very crowded. We have a few computers set up against the wall and a counter that’s usually covered in stacks of paper and pens. Batala Road can be quite busy with trucks and tractors passing by, so there’s often a bit of dust coming in through the door. We don’t have set hours that are strictly followed; if someone knocks late, we usually open up. It’s just us running the place, so we do the cleaning and the technical work ourselves. We keep a jug of water for anyone who stops by because it gets quite hot waiting for things to print. It’s a simple life here in Harchowal, and we like being the spot where everyone comes to get their small jobs done.
