Vihari family restaurant is located on the 4th line in Arundalpet. We are right near the Geetha restaurant, which is a big landmark around here in Guntur. Our street is usually pretty packed with people looking for a place to eat, especially in the evenings. We wanted to create a spot where a whole family could sit down and have a meal together without it being too expensive or too formal. The restaurant isn't very large, so it can get a bit loud when all the tables are full, but we think that’s part of the charm. We have a lot of local people who come in every week. They have their favorite tables and their favorite dishes that they order every single time. The kitchen is always a busy place, with the chefs working hard to keep up with the orders. We don't have a fancy website or do much on social media. We just focus on what’s happening inside our four walls. Sometimes the power goes out or we run out of a certain ingredient, and we just have to deal with it as it comes. It’s a real, living business with all the ups and downs you’d expect. We like the energy of Arundalpet and being right in the middle of everything. It’s just a place for good food and conversation with the people you care about every day.
