Chillies Dhaba

We are out on Amaravati Road in the Gorantla area of Guntur. The place is at Door No 79A/10/2/1. If you are driving on the Inner Ring Road, you will probably see the Cine Square Theatre nearby. That’s where Chillies Dhaba is located. Dhabas are usually simple, and we are no exception to that. We have some outdoor seating and some indoor space too. It’s a bit of a trek from the main city center, but the road is usually busy with people heading toward the theater or traveling between towns. The air carries the smell of woodsmoke and spices most of the time. We aren't a five-star place with white tablecloths. We use sturdy tables that can handle a lot of use. People come here when they are hungry and want something straightforward. We spend our days prepping in the kitchen and making sure the coal is ready. It’s a lot of manual work. The sun can be brutal in Guntur, so we have plenty of shade for the customers. We don't have a mission statement or anything fancy. We just serve food and try to keep everyone happy enough to come back. It’s a family-run kind of vibe. We live nearby, so the commute is short. We just like what we do here on the ring road. It is a good way to stay busy and meet all kinds of travelers.
