Viceroy Biryani Point

Down here in Arundalpet, things can get pretty hot, especially during the summer months. Viceroy Biryani Point is tucked away on 4/1 Lane, right beside Geeta Residency. We’ve been serving biryani to the Guntur crowd for a good while now. It’s a simple setup, nothing too grand. We spend most of our mornings getting the rice and meat ready, making sure the spices are right because people around here know their food and they won't settle for something that isn't authentic. The kitchen gets incredibly warm by noon, and that's when the first batch usually comes out. We have a few tables for people who want to sit down, but a lot of our customers just grab a parcel and head home or back to their offices. Our address is Door No 7-4-76, which is easy to find once you get into the lane. We don't spend money on big advertisements or fancy decorations. Most of the folks who eat here are regulars who live nearby or work in the local shops. Sometimes we run out of the popular stuff before the day is over, which is frustrating, but we only make so much each day to keep it fresh. It’s hard work, standing over the big pots, but it’s what we do. If you're in the 522002 area, you’ll smell the spices before you even see our sign. It is just honest cooking for hungry people.
