Tjps College

Tjps College is located right opposite the Jute Mill on the Ring Road in Guntur. It’s a very specific part of town where you see a lot of industrial activity. The Ring Road is always busy with trucks and buses passing by, so there is a constant hum of traffic in the background. Being opposite the mill means we see the workers coming and going, which gives the area a very practical, working-class feel. The college building itself is quite large and handles a good number of students from across Andhra Pradesh. We spend our days managing the classes and making sure the administrative work is up to date. The sun in Guntur can be quite harsh, so the shade in the hallways is always appreciated during the afternoon breaks. Students often gather near the gates or along the Ring Road while waiting for their transport home. We don't have a lot of bells and whistles here; it is just a solid place for people to come and get their education. The classrooms are basic with standard desks and boards. We deal with the usual college stuff like exams, attendance, and local events. It’s a bit dusty because of the road and the mill, but that is just how life is in this part of Guntur. We’ve been part of this landscape for a long time and the locals know us well.
