Inter Mpc Saradha Junior College

We’ve been running the college here in Pathuru for a while now. It's located right on Sivalayam Street in the Old Town part of Narasaraopet. If you know the area, it’s near David Raju’s place, at Door No 4-3-26/1. It isn't some fancy big campus like you see in the cities, but we get the job done for the kids wanting to study MPC. Most of the students come from nearby villages around Guntur. We spend our mornings getting the classrooms ready and making sure the benches are straight before the first bell rings. It gets pretty loud when the classes break for lunch, but that's just how it is with teenagers. The street outside is usually busy with people going to the temple or the local shops. Sometimes the power goes out and we just open the windows to let the breeze in to keep the students cool. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us who have been here since the start. It’s mostly about helping these kids pass their exams so they can find a decent job later on in life. We know most of the parents by name because they stop by to check on how their sons and daughters are doing. It feels more like a community spot than a big institution. We keep things simple and try to make sure the syllabus is covered before the final tests come around in the summer heat. That is our daily life here.
