Sri J Vidya Samsthalu

Sri J Vidya Samsthalu is based in Gujjannaguntla, which is a well-known part of Guntur. The school is tucked away in a residential pocket where things are mostly peaceful during the day. We have a simple concrete building with a small gate that we keep locked during the school hours for safety. The classrooms are basic and functional, filled with the usual wooden desks and chairs that have been there for years. We have a small area for the staff to sit and do their grading, and a simple office for managing the records and school fees. The walls inside are painted a light color, though you can see where the kids have leaned against them over time. We don't have a lot of fancy technology here, just the standard tools like chalk, boards, and paper. Most of our students live within walking distance, so you’ll see them coming down the lanes with their bags every morning around eight. The atmosphere is very down-to-earth and we don’t try to be anything we’re not. During the summer months, the heat in Guntur is quite something, so we try to finish the lessons before the sun gets too high in the sky. The teachers are mostly local residents who have a good connection with the parents. It’s a straightforward local school that has been part of the Gujjannaguntla community for a good while now, just providing a place for kids to learn and do their daily work.
