Sri Mayura restaurant

Sri Mayura restaurant is on the main road in Laxmipuram, Guntur. If you are looking for us, we are right opposite the KFC. It is funny being across from a big international place like that, but we just do our own thing here. Laxmipuram is a busy part of the 522007 area, and the road gets really congested in the evenings. You can hear the bikes and cars all day long from inside the dining area. We have some simple tables and a counter where we take orders. The kitchen stays busy because there is always something that needs to be chopped or stirred. Guntur gets incredibly hot, so we try to keep the place as comfortable as we can for anyone walking in from the sun. We don't have a fancy menu or anything polished, just the food we make every day. Most of the people who come in are locals who live nearby or work in the shops on the main road. We see the same faces every week. It is a lot of work keeping up with the cleaning and the prep, but that is just how a restaurant goes. We keep the doors open and the lights on, and we stay focused on getting the orders out to the tables. It is a practical, no-nonsense place in the middle of a very busy street in Guntur. We just keep working.
