Sri Majety Guravaiah Degree College

We have been here in Brodipet for quite a while now. If you walk down 6/7, you will see our building right there in the middle of Guntur. It is a busy area, especially in the mornings when the students start arriving. Most of them come from nearby villages or other parts of the city. We don't have a fancy glass front or anything, just a solid place where classes happen every day. Some of our staff have been around since the early days and they know almost every family in the neighborhood. The rooms get a bit warm in the summer, but that is just how it is in A.P. We keep the fans running and try to get through the lessons. Usually, you will see a bunch of bicycles and scooters parked out front. It gets noisy during the breaks because the kids like to stand out on the street and talk. We have seen a lot of people pass through these halls over the years. Some come back to visit and tell us about their jobs or their kids. It feels more like a big family than just a school sometimes. We just open the gates in the morning, do the teaching, and close up in the evening. There is always someone sitting at the front desk to answer questions if a parent drops by. It is just a regular part of life here in 522002. We try to keep things simple and just focus on getting the work done every day without too much fuss and without making big promises.
