SAI Krishna Restaurant

Our place is at 15-1-102 on the GBC Road in Ponnur, which is in the Guntur district. We are right near the Andhra Bank, so a lot of people who are doing their banking stop by. The road is often busy with local buses and people heading into the main part of town. It’s a standard restaurant setup with a few fans to keep the air moving in the heat. We get to work early to start the cooking before it gets too hot in the afternoon. The building is a simple one on the 522124 zip code stretch. We don't have any big marketing or decorations, just the usual setup you'd expect in a town like Ponnur. The staff is mostly local guys who have been with us for a bit. We spend a lot of time just keeping the place clean and making sure the supplies are fresh from the market. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we have to manage, but that is common around here. The GBC Road is the main way people get around, so we see a lot of different people every day. We don't try to be anything we are not, just a local spot for a meal. It is a bit noisy with the bank traffic and the motorbikes, but we like being in the middle of things. We just stay open until the last customer leaves.
