neelima Restaurant & bar

I have been running neelima Restaurant & bar on Pattabipuram Main Road for a good while now. We are situated right in Guntur, not too far from the SB Jute Mill. You can usually hear the sounds of the road and the mill from the front door. It is a straightforward kind of place where people come to unwind after a long shift or a day out in the sun. The building isn't brand new, so there are some cracks in the tiles and the paint is peeling a little in the corners, but it has character. I spend a lot of my day just making sure the stock is in and the tables are wiped down. Guntur gets incredibly hot, so we try to keep things as cool as we can inside. It is mostly locals who stop by, workers from the nearby businesses or people living in the Pattabipuram area. We don't have any fancy decorations or a complicated setup. It is just a bar and restaurant where you can sit and talk. Sometimes the music is a bit loud, and other times it is quiet enough to hear the fans whirring. My cousin used to work here with me, but now it is just me and a small crew. We just keep our heads down and do the work. It is not a glamorous job, but it is ours. We are just a regular part of the street here and we like it that way.
