Acc Limited

Living and working out of Wadi at Qtr No 4-A-8 in Tata Colony is a bit different than the city life. It’s right near the Wadi Cement Works, so you always have that industrial background noise that you eventually stop hearing after a few weeks. Being in Karnataka, the climate changes quite a bit, but it’s mostly just dry and dusty around here. This place is pretty much dedicated to the work at Acc Limited. The colony itself is where most of us stay, so the commute is just a short walk or a quick ride. We aren’t a big fancy office with glass walls or anything. It’s a solid building, meant to last. Most of the people around here are doing the same kind of stuff, so there’s a sense of knowing everyone’s business without really trying. We just get on with the job. If someone needs to find us, they usually just ask around the Tata Colony because everyone knows where the quarters are. We don't spend much time worrying about how the place looks to outsiders as long as it’s clean and the roof doesn’t leak during the monsoon. It’s an honest way to live and work. We have our routine, we see our neighbors, and we keep the operations moving along without making much of a fuss about it. There isn't much more to say than that. It is just home.
