Our office and workshop are at J-213 in Gamma-2. We focus on packaging machines. It's a lot of mechanical work, lots of nuts and bolts and testing how things wrap or seal. The space isn't huge but we make it work for everything we need to do. Gamma-2 is a pretty decent area to be in. We have a small team here. Most of us have been working with these types of machines for a long time. You’ll usually find us with grease on our hands or looking over a blueprint on the workbench. We don't go in for fancy titles or corporate meetings. We just talk about what needs to be fixed or built that day. Sometimes a machine is stubborn and takes a lot of troubleshooting, but we usually get there in the end. It's a bit of a puzzle every day. The noise of the testing can be a lot, but it means things are moving. We keep the spare parts organized on the shelves, or at least we try to. It’s a real working environment, not a showroom. We deal with the daily ups and downs of manufacturing and keep the business going as best we can. It’s just how we operate. We spend a lot of time drinking tea and discussing how to make a specific part work better for a specific machine. It's just what we do at the shop every single day.
