Omkar Cement

Omkar Cement is located over at Plot No. 3 on Moviar Road, right where the Genelia Industries area is. It’s an industrial part of town, so there aren't many shops or houses right next to us, just other warehouses and factories. We spend our days handling cement orders and making sure the stock is rotated correctly. It is a lot of physical labor, lifting and moving bags, and the dust is just something you have to accept. The building itself is a plain concrete structure, nothing special to look at, but it keeps the cement dry and that’s what matters most. We get a lot of workers and truck drivers coming through here. Sometimes the paperwork gets a bit messy, and we have to spend an extra hour in the evening straightening things out. We don’t really have a marketing team or anyone like that. It is just a few of us making sure the orders are filled. The road outside can get pretty bumpy with all the heavy trucks going back and forth, but we are used to the noise by now. We just focus on the task at hand, which is usually getting a flatbed truck loaded before the sun goes down. It’s a straightforward business without any bells or whistles. We handle the loads, check the invoices, and lock up when the last truck leaves the plot in the evening.
