Prakash Cement Products

Our yard is at No. 51 Bhavnath Park on Ghoghavadar Road. We are tucked behind Yogi Marble and right near the Hitech Secondary School in Gondal. At Prakash Cement Products, we spend most of our time out in the open air. We make all sorts of things out of cement, from blocks to pipes and other bits. It is heavy, gray work. There is always a layer of cement dust on the ground and on our shoes. We can hear the kids at the school during their break times, which is a nice break from the sound of the mixer. We don't have a polished office or a sales team. Usually, the owner is out there with the rest of the guys, making sure the molds are set right. It is a small operation, and we like it that way. We have been in this part of Tiplu for quite a while now. People in the neighborhood know where to find us if they need something made of concrete. It is a basic job that requires a lot of muscle and some good weather so the cement dries properly. Sometimes the rain slows us down, but that is just part of working outdoors. We just keep at it, making one piece at a time and watching the trucks go by on the road. The piles of sand and gravel are always getting moved around.
