Gangta Fasia Farmers Producer Company Limited is situated in the Godda district. Our main office is at the house of Sunderbati Devi in Gangta Fasiya. It’s a bit of a trek to get out here, especially if you’re coming from the main town area. We are in the Godda Muffasil area. This company is all about the farmers in our village. We spend most of our time out in the fields or sitting on the veranda discussing the crops. Sunderbati is often there making sure everything is running okay with the books. We don't have any fancy computers or high-tech equipment to use. Most of our records are kept in old notebooks with pen and paper. It’s a very local operation through and through. We talk about the rain a lot because that’s what matters most to us and our families. When the harvest comes, things get very chaotic around here. We have to organize where everything goes and who is getting what share of the work. It’s a lot of shouting and heavy lifting in the sun. We don't have a polished image or a big advertising budget to spend. We just have the people who live here and the soil we till every season. Sometimes visitors get lost trying to find us since the lanes aren't marked very well on the maps. But if you ask anyone in Gangta Fasiya for Sunderbati’s place, they will point you the right way. We are just trying to make a living.
