We are based over in Poraiyahat in the Godda district, sharing space with Suman Steel Engineering. Kisan Mitra Agronomy is a small setup where we try to help folks with the technical side of farming. It isn't just about planting seeds; there is a lot of stuff to figure out about the soil and the way the water flows. We are right there at the engineering shop so there is always the sound of metal being worked on in the background. It’s a bit noisy but we don't mind. We have some basic equipment and we spend our time checking on crops and giving advice when people ask for it. We aren't big-city experts with degrees from everywhere, just people who have spent a lot of time looking at dirt and plants. Sometimes the advice we give doesn't work out because nature has its own plans, but we try our best. The office is just a desk in the corner with some old papers and a few jars of soil samples. We don't have a big budget for fancy things. We mostly just talk to people who stop by the steel shop. It’s a weird mix of farming and engineering but it works for us. We're just trying to make the land around here produce a bit more so everyone can have a better life. It’s plain work and we don't try to make it sound like more than it is.
