We’re tucked away in Gali No.2 over in Banwari Nagar, near Sihani Chungi. It’s a typical narrow street where everyone knows each other and people are always coming and going. Our building is nothing special to look at, just a practical space where we handle our imports and exports every day. The rooms are usually filled with cardboard boxes stacked up to the ceiling, waiting to be moved out to the customers. It can get a bit cramped when a big shipment arrives all at once, but we’ve gotten good at navigating the narrow hallways over time. We’re a small group of people, and we mostly just get on with our tasks without making much noise. There’s no front desk or receptionist to greet you; if you walk in, you’ll probably just see someone on the phone or checking a manifest on a cluttered desk. We spend a lot of time dealing with logistics and making sure the paperwork is in order for the customs officials. It’s a lot of routine work, but it keeps the business moving. The neighborhood is fairly quiet, except for the occasional delivery scooter or the neighbors talking outside. We’ve been here for a bit, and we like the local feel of the street. We don’t do any big advertising or social media. Most of our work comes from people we’ve known for a long time. It’s a simple operation, really. We just show up, do the work, and then head home for the evening.
