If you’ve ever been through Indirapuram around Arjun Nagar 4-B, you probably know how tight the streets can get. That’s where we run Manoj Car Accessories. We spend most of our time out on the pavement or in the small bay area, fitting seat covers or trying to get a stereo system to sit just right in a dashboard. It’s a messy job sometimes, with bits of wire and packaging material all over the floor, but that is just how it is when you’re working on cars all day. The sun beats down on the cars parked outside, and we’re usually sweating while we pull off old floor mats or screw in new speakers. Being in Indirapuram means we get all kinds of people, from folks with brand new SUVs to guys trying to keep an old hatchback running for a few more years. We don't have a lot of space for a big office, so most of our talking happens right there by the car door. It’s a bit loud with the traffic passing by, and sometimes we have to shout to be heard over a horn. We try to keep the most common parts in stock, but the shelves are always getting mixed up because we’re in a hurry. It’s just us here, getting our hands dirty and making sure the cars look a bit better when they leave than when they arrived. We stay until it’s dark, usually cleaning up the scraps of leather and wire before we finally head home.
