We are based at Ambedkar Road 30. This is more of a wholesale setup than a walk-in shop. We deal with a lot of boxes and crates coming in and out every day. The space is filled with stacks of inventory that reach almost to the ceiling. Most of my time is spent checking the ledger and making sure the deliveries are on time. Ambedkar Road is always packed with people, so getting the delivery trucks parked is a daily headache. We have a few staff members who handle the heavy lifting and the loading. It’s a lot of paperwork, keeping track of what was sent where. The fans in the office area hum all day, and there's usually a stack of chai cups on the side table by afternoon. We aren't trying to look like a big corporate office; it’s just a practical place to run the business. The walls could use some paint, but we are too busy moving stock to worry about that. Customers come in to settle accounts or place orders for their own shops. It’s a noisy, busy atmosphere. We've been at this number 30 spot for quite a while now. The routine is the same every morning: open up, check the stock, and start the calls. It’s just how we do things here on Ambedkar Road, and it keeps us busy from morning until we close the gates in the evening. There is always another shipment to check.
