Vikas Concrete Industries

Vikas Concrete Industries is based over at B-39 in Patel Nagar. We are located on the 2nd Meerut Road, which stays pretty busy with vehicles going back and forth all day. Our work revolves around concrete, so things can get pretty grey and dusty around the yard. It’s a tough business because everything we handle is heavy and needs a lot of muscle to move. We’ve been operating out of this Patel Nagar spot for a while now, and we’ve seen the area change as more industries moved in. Most of the time, I’m out there checking on the production or talking to the guys about the next batch we need to finish. We don't have a big fancy reception area; it’s just a place where we get the work done. The trucks coming off Meerut Road keep us on our toes. It can be a bit chaotic when three or four orders are going out at the same time, but that’s just how it is. We aren't interested in being the biggest company around, we just want to keep making decent concrete products for the projects in this area. It’s honest, hard work and we take it one day at a time. The heat can be brutal in the summer, but the work doesn't stop for the weather. We just drink some water and get back to the machines.
