Kamdhenu Cement Ltd.

Over in Modinagar, which is in the Ghaziabad district, we have our Kamdhenu Cement Ltd. office at H. No. B-62 in Mahesh Park. Being in a place like Modinagar means we’re a bit further out from the main city of Delhi, and the pace is a little different. We handle a lot of local requirements for cement, for the people in and around Mahesh Park. The office is really just a part of the local landscape. We show up every morning, open the doors, and start going through the list of things that need to be done. It’s a lot of coordinating with local builders and homeowners who are doing their own construction. We don’t have a big corporate feel at all; it’s more like a local shop where you can come and talk about what you need. We’ve lived and worked in this area for a long time, so we know the people and the local needs pretty well. Sometimes the power goes out or the roads are blocked, but we just deal with it and keep moving. It’s honest work, and we don't try to make it sound like more than it is. We just provide a product that people need to build their lives, and we do it from our small space here in Ghaziabad. Our days are full, but we wouldn't have it any other way because there is always something to do.
