Jaidev Traders

Jaidev Traders is located in the Ramnagar Colony Kirana Mandi, specifically at Ram Nagar 696. Being in a kirana mandi means our day starts much earlier than most people. By the time the sun is up, we’ve usually been here for hours. The air always smells like spices, grains, and whatever else is being traded that day. It’s a very busy market environment. There are sacks of goods stacked everywhere, and sometimes it’s hard to even find a place to walk. We deal with a lot of different suppliers and shopkeepers who come in to restock their own shelves. It’s a lot of weighing things out and keeping track of bags. We don't have a fancy storefront. It’s mostly just a big storage area with a small counter where we handle the cash and the receipts. The floors are stone and the walls are just plain. Ramnagar is a crowded part of town, so there are always carts and trucks moving around outside. We’ve been part of this mandi for a long time. We don't do anything special, just buy and sell the staples people need. It’s a simple life, focused on the market prices and making sure the inventory is right. We just keep our heads down and work through the morning rush until things quiet down in the evening.
