Jai Prakash & Sons

We are located at C-210 in Partap Vihar, right in the middle of Sector-11. Jai Prakash & Sons has been a family thing for a long time. My father started it, and now we all just pitch in to keep the doors open. It is a very practical place. We do not have air conditioning in the main work area, so it gets pretty warm during the summer months. But we are used to it by now and just keep some fans going. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we have been too busy with work to get around to it. Most of our day is spent handling orders and talking to people who drop by the office. We have a lot of old ledgers and files stacked up because we still do a lot of things the old-fashioned way. It works for us. Partap Vihar is a good area, mostly quiet except for the usual street noise and barking dogs. We like being part of the community here in Sector-11. We don’t try to act like a big company with a fancy board of directors. It is just us and a couple of helpers. Sometimes we stay late to finish up a job if it is urgent. There is always something to fix or look at. We just take it one day at a time and stay honest with everyone we deal with. That is how we were taught.
