Veg Gharana

Started here in Kaushambi 14 a few years back. Most days start early before the sun is even fully up. We wanted a place where people could just sit and eat vegetarian food without any fuss. The area has changed quite a bit since we opened. There used to be less traffic on this street. Now, it is busy all the time. My brother and I run things mostly. We spend a lot of time just cleaning the tables and making sure the kitchen is ready for the lunch rush. It is not a fancy place, just a simple spot for a meal. Sometimes people ask why we don't have a bigger menu, but we like keeping it small so we can manage everything ourselves. The rent is okay for now, and the neighbors at the other shops are friendly enough. We deal with the usual stuff like power cuts or the water guy being late. That's just how it is here. You might see us sitting outside when things are quiet in the afternoon. It gets hot in the summer, so we keep the fans running full speed. People come in from the nearby offices mostly. We just try to keep the floors swept and the food ready on time. It is a lot of work but it keeps us busy every day. We don't have any big plans to move anywhere else. Kaushambi feels like home now.
