Hka Engineerings

We’ve been here at 11/131 Vasundhara in Sabarmati for a while now. It’s a busy spot and we spend most of our time just handling the engineering work that comes through the door. The shop isn't anything fancy to look at, just a place where we get our hands dirty and make sure things are working right. Most days start early before the sun gets too hot over Sabarmati. We have a lot of tools lying around and there is usually some noise from the machines running. People from the neighborhood stop by sometimes just to see how things are going or to ask about a specific part they need for a project. We don't really do much big talk or fancy ads, we just focus on the drawings and the metal work in front of us. It gets a bit crowded inside when we have a few big jobs going on at the same time, but we manage. Living and working in this part of Ahmedabad means dealing with the dust and the traffic, but it’s home for the business. We keep a small crew and everyone knows what they are supposed to do without being told too much. Sometimes we stay late when a deadline is coming up fast. It’s just how it is when you’re running a small engineering outfit. We try to keep the floors clear but usually there’s always some scrap metal or a box of bolts in the way.
