Our place is over at Plot No.703, right in the middle of Siddiq Nagar. It’s a bit tucked away if you don't know the area of Sihani well. We do a lot of mechanical work and assembly here. It’s mostly just a few of us on the floor every day. We’ve got some older machines and a few new ones that we’re still getting used to. Major Asharam Road stays busy, so there’s always noise coming in from outside. We don’t really do much advertising; people usually just hear about us from other shops nearby. If you need something fabricated or a part fixed, that’s what we spend our time on. It's not a glamorous job. There’s always oil on the floor and scraps of metal in the corners. We try to keep it organized, but when three jobs come in at once, things get messy fast. That’s just the reality of a workshop like Autosys Engineering. We’ve been in Ghukna for a while now. Some days are slow and we just clean the tools, other days we stay late to finish a project. It’s honest work and we keep at it. The tea stall down the street knows our order by heart because we go there every afternoon for a break. Sometimes the heat in the shop gets bad, but we just turn the fans on and keep moving. It's what we do.
