You can find us at Harihar Engg. Works inside the Punjab Expeller Compound. We are on Gali No. 10, just off Meerut Road. If you see the Movie World cinema, you are pretty close to where we are. It’s a busy little corner of the world. The compound has a lot of history, and you can feel it in the walls. Our shop is full of the smell of cut metal and welding. We have been here in Gali No. 10 for a long time. The neighbors are all doing similar work, so there is always the sound of hammers or grinders going in the background. It is not the cleanest place, but it is where the work happens. We have a heavy old door that creaks when you open it. Inside, there are stacks of iron and various bits and pieces we’ve saved over the years. We don't have a receptionist or a fancy sign out front. Most people find us because they know the compound or someone told them where Gali 10 was. We spend our mornings getting the machines warmed up and our evenings cleaning up the floor. It is a routine we’ve had for years. Meerut Road is always moving, but inside these walls, we just focus on the task at hand. It gets hot in the summer with all the machines running, but we just open the back door to let the air in.
