You can find Uttam Industrial Engg. Ltd. down at A-8 in the Meerut Road Industrial Area. It’s an older building, but it serves us well for what we do. We’ve got the machinery set up and a decent space for the crew to work. Most days it’s pretty loud with the sound of metal and tools. We don’t have a lobby with fancy chairs or anything. If you come to see us, you’ll probably find us on the floor checking a machine or looking over some blueprints. We’ve been in this industrial patch for a long time. The roads around here get a bit dusty, but that’s just how it is in this part of town. We mostly handle engineering parts and repairs for other businesses nearby and further out. It’s practical work. We don't really do the whole corporate thing. We just wear our work clothes and get through the list of jobs for the week. Sometimes a machine breaks down and we have to stay late to fix it, but that's part of the trade. We have a small office tucked in the corner where the paperwork gets handled. It’s a bit messy with all the manuals and invoices, but we know where everything is. We just focus on making parts that work and keeping the customers we’ve had for years happy. It's honest work and it keeps the lights on.
