Unique Offset Printers

Unique Offset Printers is tucked away in Gali No 2, right inside the Punjab Expeller Compound. If you know where Sihani Chungi is, we are pretty close to that landmark. The air always smells like fresh ink and stacks of paper here, which you get used to after a few days. We have got these big printing presses that make a lot of noise when they are running fast. It is a bit dusty out on Meerut Road but our shop stays busy with local printing jobs. Most people find us through word of mouth rather than seeing a sign outside. We do a lot of flyers, small books, and whatever else people need printed on paper. The floor is usually stained with different colors of ink because spills happen when we are in a hurry. We do not have a fancy waiting room, just a couple of plastic chairs for visitors to sit on. My brother and I run the place along with a few helpers who know how to fix the machines when they jam. Paper prices keep going up, so we spend a lot of time talking to suppliers on the phone. Sometimes the power goes out in the compound and everything stops, but we just wait it out and have some tea. It is hard work and the hours are long during the wedding season when everyone wants their cards finished. We just try to get the jobs done.
