Uday Enterprises

Uday Enterprises sits right across from Janta Flat No. 433 in Nayaye Khand-1, Indirapuram. Being in Village Makanpur gives the place a very local, neighborhood feel. It isn't like those big corporate parks you see in other parts of the city with the glass buildings. We are right there where people live. The shop is at Khasra No. 1108. It is a busy street with people coming and going to their flats all day long. We handle a bit of everything here in the shop. Most days start with us opening the heavy shutters and sweeping the front step. We have shelves stacked high with various items, and it can get a bit disorganized when we get a new delivery of stock. There is always someone dropping by for a quick chat or to ask about a price of something. It is a small operation. Just a couple of us managing the inventory and talking to the customers. The area has grown a lot, with more buildings going up every year, but our little corner stays pretty much the same as it was. We don’t have a marketing team or anything like that. Most people know us just from walking past every day on their way to work. Sometimes the rain makes the street a bit messy, which slows down the foot traffic. We just take it day by day. It’s a simple way of doing business, rooted in the local community here in Makanpur. We keep it honest and try to be helpful.
