Tomar Engineering Works

Tomar Engineering Works is located at D-262 in Ashok Vihar Phase I. We are pretty easy to find since we are quite close to the UPSIDC office. Our shop is a typical engineering setup. We have got welding sets, drills, and a lot of scrap metal lying around the entrance. It’s a family-run kind of thing, and we have been here for a good number of years. We don't do anything fancy. Most of our work involves fixing things or fabricating small steel structures for local needs. Sometimes the neighborhood is quiet, and other times it’s a mess of trucks and noise. We just keep our heads down and work. The floor is concrete and usually covered in metal dust. We wear boots because you never know what you might step on. We aren't big on paperwork; we prefer to just talk to the people who need help and get started on the welding. It gets pretty hot inside during the afternoon, so we often take a longer break when the sun is at its peak. We don't have a website or any of that modern stuff. Most of our business comes from people just walking in because they saw the sign or heard we were reliable from someone else. It's just a regular engineering shop where we try to do right by the folks who bring their work to us. It is hard work, but we like it.
