Our shop is at 721 Purana Vijay Nagar, right in Sector 9. The name Rimjhim Modern Engineering sounds a bit formal, but we’re mostly just a group of people who like fixing things and making parts. It’s an older part of the area, which we like because it feels more established and less hurried. Every morning, the shutters go up and the machines start humming. It’s a bit noisy, but you get used to it after a while. We do a lot of engineering work, mostly custom bits and pieces that people need for their own projects or local businesses. There’s always a bit of grease on someone’s hands and blueprints lying around on the tables. We don’t have a big front office with a receptionist. Usually, if you walk in, you’ll just see someone leaning over a lathe or looking closely at a screen. Sector 9 has its own rhythm, and we’ve become part of it over the years. We take our time with the work because getting it wrong just means doing it twice, and nobody wants that. Sometimes the tea stall down the road brings over a round of drinks, and we take a break for ten minutes to chat. It’s a regular job with regular people. We aren't trying to change the world, just trying to make sure the parts we produce are solid and do what they’re supposed to do for the folks who come to us. It is just daily life here in Vijay Nagar.
