Steel Scaff India

Our place, Steel Scaff India, is located at 86-A in Nyaya Khand Ii, which is part of Indirapuram in Ghaziabad. If you know the area, you know it's gotten a lot busier over the years. We’ve been operating from this spot for a while now. Dealing with scaffolding means our yard is always full of steel tubes and boards. It's a lot of clanging noises throughout the day. People in the neighborhood are probably used to the sound of metal hitting metal by now. We aren't a high-tech operation. Most of our records are still kept in big ledgers, though we do use the computer for some things. It’s a practical way of doing business that works for us. The guys who work here are mostly locals from around Ghaziabad or U.P. We know each other's families and what's going on in the neighborhood. When a customer comes in, we don't give them a sales pitch. We just show them what we have in stock at 86-A and tell them the price. Sometimes the stock is low and we have to tell them to come back in a few days. That’s just how it is. We try to keep the trucks moving in and out without blocking the road too much, which is a challenge in Nyaya Khand Ii. It’s just a normal, everyday business, trying to get the job done without too much fuss or complication. We just keep our heads down and work.
