Our place is at Ground No. 202 in Sector-1. We are situated very close to the Durga Mata Mandir, which makes it easy for people to find us. Being on the ground floor is handy because we are constantly moving heavy steel items in and out. The space is mostly filled with racks and piles of metal. We don't have much of a decorated office; it’s basically just a table and a few chairs tucked into a corner. On festival days, it gets very crowded around the temple, so we usually have to work around that. We’ve been operating out of this sector for quite some time now. The neighbors are mostly other businesses and some residences. We keep a simple routine, opening up early and checking our stock levels before the first customers arrive. It’s a lot of physical work, and the floors are usually covered in some kind of metal shavings or dust. We don't spend money on marketing or anything like that. People usually hear about us from someone else in the trade. It’s just us here, doing the work and making sure the orders are correct. The building is simple and doesn't have any extra frills. We like it that way because it keeps things uncomplicated. We just focus on the steel and getting through the day's work without any unnecessary delays or problems. It’s a steady business and we like being part of the local scene. We just try to keep a good amount of stock so we can help anyone who stops by.
