Our spot is at Plot No. A/100 in the Sahibabad pipe market, which is usually a chaotic place to be. Being so close to the metro station means there is always a crowd of people walking by, but most of them are just trying to get to work. At Bagai Steel, we are surrounded by pipes of every size you can imagine. It is a lot of loading and unloading throughout the day. The ground is usually covered in some kind of grit, and the air smells like metal. We’ve been here in this market for a while, and you get used to the noise of the trains and the shouting of the other traders. It’s a very practical environment. We don't spend money on fancy signs or anything; we just make sure we have the stock people are looking for. Sometimes the traffic in Sahibabad makes it hard for our deliveries to get out on time, which can be frustrating for everyone. We spend a lot of time checking the inventory and making sure the counts are right. It’s a tough business because the prices of steel are always jumping around, but we just manage it as best as we can. Usually, we are just happy when the sun goes down and we can lock up the gate for the night. It's honest work, and it keeps us busy from morning until late evening. There is always a new shipment coming in that needs to be sorted through.
