Shiv Ice Fact

Our ice factory is located at F-6 in the Bulandshahr Road Industrial Area, not too far from the RTO office in Ghaziabad. We have been making ice here for a long time. The process is pretty simple, but it takes a lot of patience and heavy work. We fill the big metal cans with water and wait for the freezing process to finish. When the blocks are ready, we have to pull them out and get them ready for the local shops and vendors who need them. In the summer months, things get really crazy because everyone is desperate for ice to keep their drinks and food cold. We barely have time to sit down during those months. The building itself is just a big industrial shed with thick walls to keep the cold in. It is usually damp inside and there is always a bit of fog in the air from the refrigeration. Shiv Ice Fact is a small operation, and we do not try to be anything else. We know our neighbors in the industrial area and we help each other out when needed. Working near the RTO means there is always a lot of movement outside, but we mostly stay inside our gates. We just focus on keeping the machines running and making sure we have enough ice for whoever shows up.
