Our place is in Mohan Nagar at 225/2. We handle food products, so the unit is always smelling of whatever is being processed that day. It’s a lot of manual work, moving bags of raw materials and checking the packaging. The machines we use are loud and the place gets quite warm, especially in the summer months. We don’t have a fancy showroom because most of our work is about getting the food ready and sent out to the distributors. It’s a functional space with concrete floors and big metal tables. We focus on getting the weight right and making sure everything is sealed properly. My clothes often smell like spices or flour by the time I go home. Mohan Nagar is a busy industrial and commercial hub, so there is always movement around 225/2. We have a small area where we keep the records and take orders over the phone. It’s not a glamorous job, just a lot of repetitive tasks and keeping an eye on the quality of what we are making. We have a small team and we all just pitch in where needed. Some days are longer than others depending on the orders we have to finish. It’s just a regular food business trying to keep things moving day by day. We've been here for a bit now and the routine is pretty much set. We just show up, do the work, and head home.
