Pooja Handicraft

We are Pooja Handicraft. The shop is on the first floor, number 834, right at Turab Nagar Chowk. If you have been around the Turab Nagar area, you probably know how busy it gets. We spend most of our days up here working on different items. It is not a very big space, but it works for us. My father started things years ago and now I handle the daily bits. Most people find us by walking up the stairs after seeing the sign outside. Sometimes the lights in the hallway flicker but we just get on with the work anyway. We keep the tools over by the window where the light is decent. It gets hot in the summer, but we have a small fan that helps a bit. People come in looking for specific things and we show them what we have finished on the shelves. There is always dust from the materials, that is just how it is when you make things by hand. We don't have a fancy office or anything like that. Just the work tables and the stock. We stay open until the market starts to quiet down in the evening. If you are near Turab Nagar Chowk, you can just look for the 834 mark. We are usually here Monday through Saturday. It is a simple setup but it has been our spot for a long time. There is nothing too complicated about how we run things.
