New Jain Handicraft And Cosmetics is located at B-15/1 in Deewan Enclave. This is over in Tilla Shahbazpur in the Loni area. It’s a bit of an interesting mix we have here. We started out just doing the handicrafts, but then we realized people around here needed a place to get their daily cosmetics too. So now the shop is split down the middle. One side has hand-carved items and the other has soaps, creams, and things like that. It makes the shop smell really good, a mix of wood and perfume. The shelves are pretty packed because we try to keep a bit of everything in stock. Loni can be a dusty place with all the traffic, so I’m always wiping down the counters to keep things looking decent. It’s just me and one other person working most days. We get a lot of women from the enclave coming in for their supplies, and then they might pick up a small gift item while they are at it. It’s a small business, and we know most of the people who walk through the door by their first names. We don't do much advertising. People just see the sign when they are out getting groceries or coming home from work. It’s a steady pace, and we like it that way.
