We are located at House No 19 in Pusta 1, Khora Colony. If you know where Darsan Hotel is, we are just right there. It’s more of a home-style setup than a big showroom. We deal with handicrafts and different types of gift items. Most days involve unpacking boxes or organizing the shelves so things don't get broken. The colony is always busy, people moving around all the time. Being near the hotel means there’s usually some activity outside. I spend a lot of time checking the stock and making sure things look okay. It is a small business, run by just a couple of us. We aren't doing anything world-changing, just selling nice things people might want to give to their family or friends. Some of the crafts are quite heavy, others are small. We started out small and stayed that way, which makes it easier to manage. I usually open up in the morning and stay until it gets dark. The space is a bit tight with all the items, but we make it work. Sometimes we get locals just stopping in to say hello. Khora Colony has a specific feel to it, very lived-in. We fit right into the neighborhood. It’s honest work and it keeps us occupied. No fancy lights or loud music here, just us and the items we sell. Every item has its own place even if it looks a bit crowded.
