Sundaram Hastkala

Sundaram Hastkala is located at 38/2/12 in Site-IV, which is part of the Ghaziabad industrial area. It’s a bit of a drive to get here, but it's where we have all our space. We work with a lot of different materials here. Since it’s a craft-based business, the place is usually filled with the smell of raw materials and the sound of people working. It’s not like those sterile offices you see in the city. There’s always something being assembled or painted. We have a lot of shelves filled with samples and half-finished pieces. It can look a bit cluttered to someone who isn't used to it, but we know where everything is. The staff here are mostly locals from around Ghaziabad. We’ve worked together for a long time. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to make sure the things we produce look right and are sturdy enough for the people who buy them. Some days are really hectic when a big shipment is due, and everyone has to pitch in, even the ones who usually stay in the office. We eat lunch together and talk about regular stuff. It’s a very grounded way to work. No one is trying to impress anyone with big words or fancy titles. We just do the work we know how to do and try to get it right. It keeps us busy and pays the bills.
