C.M.D. Handicrafts

C.M.D. Handicrafts is over in Vijay Nagar, specifically at No. 139 in Mawai, Sector-9. If you know Sector-9, you know it is a mix of homes and small workshops. We have been at this spot for a good while. The space is number 139 and we try to keep it organized, though with handicraft work, things get messy fast. There are always pieces of material waiting to be joined or finished. It is just me and a few guys doing the daily tasks. We do not have a big corporate team or anything like that. We open up early when the sun is coming up to get a head start before it gets too noisy outside. People often ask why we stayed in Vijay Nagar, but it is where we started. Mawai is a familiar place for us. The building is basic. We have a heavy door and some old windows that let in some air. We spend a lot of time sitting on small stools working on the finer details of the crafts. It is quiet work mostly. If you are looking for us, just head to Mawai Sector-9. We don't have a big neon sign, just the number 139 on the wall. It is a practical place for practical work. We have seen the neighborhood change a lot over the years but we stay right here. We just like to keep the work going without much fuss.
