Polymet Engineering Plastic is over at C-127 in the Bulandshahar Road Industrial Area. If you spend time in this part of town, you know it is all factories and trucks. We focus on plastic engineering, which means we deal with a lot of molds and raw materials every single day. The air inside the unit always has that faint smell of warm plastic, which we have just gotten used to over the years. Our space is filled with machines that hum all day long. It isn't the quietest place to work, but it gets the job done. We spend a lot of time checking the shapes and making sure things aren't coming out warped. Sometimes the cooling system gives us trouble, or a mold gets stuck, and we have to spend the afternoon fixing it. It is just how it goes in this line of work. Most of the guys here have been with us for a long time. We eat lunch together in the small break area and talk about the local news. The Bulandshahar Road area is always dusty and full of activity, so we stay inside and focus on our batches. We aren't doing anything revolutionary, just making plastic parts that people need for their own businesses. It is honest work and it keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday. We don't have much of a front office, just the workshop where everything happens.
