Nandan Pan Bhandar

We are located over in Kaushambi, and it’s been that way for a while now. Nandan Pan Bhandar is just a small place, really. We spend most of our hours standing behind the wooden counter, putting things together for the people who live and work around here. It gets dusty sometimes because of the road, but we try to keep the glass clean so people can see what we have. Most of the morning is spent getting the supplies ready and making sure everything is in its right place. It’s a quiet routine that we’ve gotten used to over the years. You see a lot of the same people every day, and you start to learn the rhythms of the neighborhood. When the sun goes down, the lights on the street come on and that is usually our busiest time. We don't have a big team or any corporate rules to follow. It’s just us working and making sure the jars are full. If someone wants to talk, we talk. If they are in a hurry, we move fast. Kaushambi is a busy area but our little shop feels like a steady point for many folks. We just do what we do and try to keep things honest. There isn't much more to it than that, just a local business trying to stay part of the community day by day. We are here every morning, setting things up and waiting for the first customer.
