Mishka Foods

We’ve been here in Major Dhyan Chand Nagar for a while now. Most people find us because we are right behind the Shopprix Mall. It gets busy on weekends because of the mall traffic, but during the week it’s mostly just the folks who live around here. We handle a lot of the food stuff daily. It’s not a fancy place, just a regular kitchen setup where we get things done. Sometimes the delivery trucks have a hard time finding the turn behind the mall, but we manage. My brother helps out with the inventory and I usually take care of the cooking side. We don't really do much to get the word out because people just know we're here. It’s a lot of work getting everything ready early in the morning before the sun gets too hot. We have some old tables and chairs if someone wants to sit, but most people just grab their stuff and go. The mall has all the shiny lights, but back here it’s just us doing what we know. We deal with different suppliers for the ingredients and sometimes they run late which is a bit of a headache. The neighbors are nice though. We’ve known them for years. It’s just a normal day-to-day life running a food place in this part of town. Nothing too complicated, just keeping the stove going and making sure we don't run out of supplies before the day ends. We just keep our heads down and work. There’s always more to do tomorrow.
