Atr Snacks

Our little place is situated on Meerut Road, specifically in the Pawanpuri area of Abupur. It’s right on the main stretch so there’s always a lot of dust and trucks zooming past the front door. We spend most of our mornings getting everything ready for the day’s batches. The smell of whatever we are frying or mixing usually drifts out onto the street. It’s a small operation with just a few of us working the machines and doing the packing by hand. We’ve got bags and containers stacked up in the corner and the kitchen area is where we spend nearly all our time. It’s not the quietest place to work because of the traffic outside and the hum of the equipment. We don't really do much in the way of advertising. Mostly people just know we are here because they see the sign when they are driving towards Modinagar. The floor gets a bit slippery sometimes so we have to be careful. We just try to get the snacks made and bagged up so they can get sent out to the local shops. Some days are more hectic than others, especially when the orders pile up unexpectedly. We just drink our chai and keep the production line moving as best as we can. It’s a simple life making snacks for the people around here and we quite like the routine of it. We just hope the machines don't break down on the busy days.
