Maruti Rice

Maruti Rice is located at 98/451 on Raj Nagar Main Road. We are in the Vishveshwara Nagar area. It’s a busy part of town with a lot of traffic passing by our doors every day. We’ve been at this spot for some time, and the neighbors know us well. We deal with rice, which sounds simple, but there is a lot of checking and moving involved. The shop isn't very big, so we have to stack things carefully to make room for everyone. We don't have a secretary or anyone like that to answer the phones. Usually, whoever is closest to the phone picks it up. We get quite a bit of dust from the bags, so we are always sweeping up. It’s just the way it is in this trade. We don't use a lot of technology, mostly just old-fashioned scales and ledgers to keep track of what comes in and goes out. It’s a straightforward business. We aren't interested in being fancy or looking like a big corporation. We just want to make sure the rice we provide is good and that people are satisfied when they leave. Sometimes we have long days when the shipments arrive late, but we stay until the job is done. It’s a local place for local people, and we like being right here on the main road. We just try to keep things honest and work hard every day to keep the business going.
