Marshall Cycles

Out here at B-17 and 18 in the Meerut Road Industrial Area, specifically Site No-3 in Ghaziabad, we spend most of our time surrounded by metal and rubber. Marshall Cycles is really just a place where we put things together. There is always the smell of grease and new tires in the air, which you get used to pretty quickly. The industrial area is quite large, and we are just one of the many units making noise throughout the day. We have bits and pieces of bicycles scattered around on the workbenches. Sometimes it’s quiet, and sometimes it’s a mess of activity when we have a big load to get ready. The floors are concrete and have their share of stains from oil and years of use. We don't have a fancy showroom with bright lights. Most of the work happens right there on the floor with basic tools and a bit of elbow grease. Ghaziabad can get really dusty, especially being so close to the main road, so we are always wiping things down before they go out. We just focus on the bikes and making sure the wheels are straight and the chains are set right. It’s honest work, and we’ve been doing it this way for a long time without needing much else besides our tools and enough space to move. We usually eat lunch together in the small corner by the back door.
